Relational TA supervision:

This type of supervision offers a contemplative space in which to engage with the internal world of both client and supervisee as it comes into the relationship between therapist and supervisor. The emergent dynamics allow for an analysis by both supervisor and therapist which deepen consciousness of the therapist/client relationship.

The group consists of eight clinicians.  We have a study slot in the morning and case presentations in the afternoon.  We follow the Balint principle of case presentation.  Each presenter sits outside of the group as the group associates with the material presented. The ensuing process illuminates aspects of the relational unconscious matrix between therapist and client.
